Rocket Fun!

For a while now, my guys have loved setting off rockets, and I have to agree with them, it is pretty fun. Last Sunday Kevin pulled out the "rocket" box from the garage and of course asked if we could go and set them off. He also had a new rocket to set off that he had just purchased with his "extra job" money and so he was double excited! :-) So, after church, where we also picked up Kevin's best buddy Skyler, we headed to the field at East Valley Middle School.

We shot the rocket off 2 times. On the second time the rocket flew so high and because it was so windy, it flew all the way into our subdivision. So it was time to call it quites just then and hunt for the rocket. We found in one of our neighbors backyard. All the boys were very proud that we were able to find it! The funniest part was seeing the looks on peoples faces as we drove around asking "Have you seen a falling rocket?" :-)
